Underwood, a Bedford, VA resident, is current exhibiting an original pastel at the King George Inn's exhibit hall. James has received many awards through the years including 17 "Best of Show" and 33 First Place awards. His work has been accepted at many juried shows including the Pastel Society of America 30th Annual Pastel Exhibition in New York and the North Florida Pastel Society Show. James recently was awarded a second place award at the Williamsburg Art on the Square Spring Show. He will be exhibiting at the SeaWall Festival in Portsmouth. Follow his work at underwoodart@aol.com
